I'm pretty sure many of you have listened to the song, "Somebody That I Used To Know" by Gotye. It was my go to song for a good half of 2011! I could even recite the lyrics backwards for you! The best part of the song though, is the woman's hypnotic voice, I was so entranced by it that I had to find out who was singing. That is how I discovered Kimbra Lee Johnson, better known as Kimbra.

Kimbra's fashion sense is just as intriguing. She is not bounded by societal rules or tradition she wears what she wants to wear and she does a great job at it! In a recent interview with Refinery29, she admitted to being thrift obsessed. Being able to put on a jacket or skirt from decades ago with a piece from one of the latest designers is a skill, one that i'm always working to improve. Plus her beauty routine is always on point! The video for her song,"Cameo Lover" has me copying her pink makeup all the time.

Kimbra's style is quirky, creative and genuine. She dresses the ways she so feels like and strongly believes in reusing pieces she's already worn before, which is "unheard" of for many celebrities today. By the way, if you saw the recent Grammy Awards show, you may have seen her in attendance! Her dress was all that and more, absolutely love it!
