As I may have mentioned before, I'm a big lingerie addict! There's something about wearing pretty, frilly things that make you feel good, sometimes I feel that my undergarments are more interesting than the clothes i'm wearing on top of it! Lingerie is the base of what we wear each day, with that said it can help make an outfit or break it. Visible panty lines and bra bulges are all culprits of ruining an outfit and can really dimmer our confidence in what we wear. I've noticed, that with mainstream under garment brands, VPL(visible panty lines) is rampant with their products, which is a major drag, but i've recently discovered a little gem in the city of brotherly love! Hope Chest in Philadelphia is a fantastic store that sells lingerie from fantastic indie and european brands such as Fortnight, Cosabella, Hanky Panky, and Simone Perele.
In my first visit there, I was simply amazed by how beautifully the store was designed, it looked as if you stepped into someone's giant underwear closet! I also got my first ever bra fitting which blindsided me, ladies if you've never gotten a bra fitting, I suggest you do it ASAP! I had no idea I was wearing the wrong size for years! The service there is great, the owner, Jen is really passionate about making women feel confident and beautiful and she's very adamant about finding the right under garment for your lifestyle. If your in the Philadelphia area, I recommend you check out Hope Chest for some fantastic lingerie. I'm super ecstatic for some indie frills! Dear readers, how do you feel about lingerie, are you as obsessed with it as I am?
I love your illustration here! :) The store looks beautiful.
