Chambray Floral

Summer is officially over and leaves are starting to turn into that lovely yellow and red hue. Pumpkin spiced everything fills the air and our bellies whilst cashmere and wool sweaters pile up in our closets! But just because the temps have dropped, it does not mean that all of our summer clothing should be put away! One trend that can definitely outlast the summer heat is florals!

Something I love to do with summer dresses is layer up! Thinking in layers really helps me think conceptually with outfits because you never know what kind of ensemble you can create with one simple piece. This gorgeous dress from Muse Apparel was the perfect dress to transition into the fall season. The boxy, chambray top, and fringed ankle boots alludes an off- duty look, perfect for fall! The top also tones down the bright colors in the dress, which makes it seem more appropriate  for this season. The black fringed scarf and bootie also help in toning down the luminosity of the colors but still pull it together without looking too "matchy," which I find is key!
