Miami Pop and Denim

I recently hosted a fun event with some fabulous bloggers and Urbandaddy at the local Gap store in Philadelphia! It was absolutely fun filled, a big social hour with fashion, food, music and wine! Gap recently introduced their new spring/ summer line for both men and women, in stores. Pastel color blocking, reinvented staples, stripes, bold prints and of course denim! This collection is one not to be missed!

The Gap Styld. By event was really enjoyable, I was able to hang out with fellow bloggers and friends that I don't frequently see or speak with. It's always great to catch with some familiar faces  and share a few laughs. I also got to talk style and dish out some of my styling tips with people that attended the event. Speaking about fashion is my cup of tea! The Urbandaddy team even styled some looks on mannequins to showcase their favorite picks from the new collection, each look represented Gap in a young and modern way, while still maintaining the essence of it's core. One of the themes of this collection is Miami, cool corals and acid washed denim represent it to the tee!

Gap has been synonymously known for being this laid back, casual Americana style, the new collection adds a jolt of something a bit more fresh to awaken it's soul. I tried on a couple of pieces from the new stock and I can definitely claim that it's a fresh new casual! The high waisted jeans that I wore to the event are amongst my favorite pieces, as you may know I have an adoration for anything high waisted! It has a way of making us short gals look longer and leaner. Raglan sweatshirts, cut off shorts, vintage tees, and texture blocked sandals... I definitely need to update my wardrobe with Gap!
