Smizing in The Rain

Lately, the weather in Philadelphia doesn't know whether it wants to be sunny and beautiful or cloudy and wet. Basically you have to seize whatever opportunity you have to take photos because you never know when it actually is the right time! The humidity has been incredibly high too, so much so that finding the right things to wear without over dressing or under dressing becomes quite a challenge.

The rain was pouring down, puddles overflowing onto the pathways and the sun trying to poke it's face through the clouds, welcome to summer in Philadelphia! For days like this, I like to make sure I have some sort of rain gear on. My short trench and light-weight neoprene dress and short boots make for the perfect rain uniform. Comfortable for hot, rainy days and keeps you dry from the unexpected summer showers. Light, complacent and airy are the three words I keep in mind when getting dressed in this weather because sweating buckets is not an option! Also, when it comes to my hair, I like to let it just do what it wants to do because the humidity will take a hold of it anyway. Although I have been using this amazing new hair oil, but that's for another post!
