Weird

"We are weird. Life is weird and when we find weirdness in the world that makes us want to work hard, we call it passion. And when we find someone whose 'weirdness' is compatible with ours, we call it love. If we were to zoom the lens way out, so that we can see all the weird people of the world doing their thing, we realize being weird is not that weird after all. It's human nature."

Ever get called weird? I'm so used to that word that it's pretty much ingrained in my mind, I'm used to it. Weird has become second nature to me, so much so that being anything else feels strange. Everything from the way I talk, how I choose to dress myself, how I style my hair, the music and art I appreciate... apparently it's all weird! Weird is just a way for people to say to you in a kind manner that they aren't used to it and I'm okay with it. For all of you that have been told you're weird too, accept it as a token of appreciation from others because we're awesome!
