Wearing your whites for the summer is now new fad. Wearing whites for the warmer seasons has been the thing to do since Jacqueline Onassis has been donning it, back in the 60s. Wearing white also keeps you cooler, darker colors tend to draw more heat and make you sweat more. I think I sweat quite enough, so wearing clothes of the lightest hue is definitely my go to for hot Philadelphian summers!

I have to admit, wearing whit bottoms absolutely freaks me out! I always worry whether or not I'll get a random stain but alas, you can't live life that way. Wearing pieces of the lightest hue feels refreshing and new especially if you spent your winter wearing blacks and grays! This particular pair of trousers is one of my favorite pieces, it's versatile and extremely comfortable. I also feel like it elongates my figure which is why I chose to go with my flat, velvet slippers. Most wide legged pants don't work for me, the fabric tends to drag on the ground and force me to wear heels. Not this pair!

This will be the summer I overcome my fear of wearing whites! If someone else can do it, why can't I? Fashion is about being fearless and having fun which I am wholeheartedly partaking in! Dear readers, how do you like to wear your summer whites?
