Life Lately

Hello dear readers, I want to apologize for my lack of updates lately. As you know, life can be a wild roller coaster ride that takes you through many loops, highs and lows. Fortunately, I've been handed a lot of highs lately, that have been keeping me pretty busy. I've recently been creating a lot of art, although that might not sound like anything new to you! One of my NYE resolutions, from earlier this year was to participate in art exhibits and expose my brand even more than I have been. This Fall season, has proven just that!

As you may have already figured out, I'm an illustrator and one of the best ways for an artist like myself to promote themselves is through exhibits. There's a connection that our minds make with seeing art in person that seeing it over the internet just can't attain.

I was recently showing work with Raw Artists, which was held at the Trocadero theatre. It was a total fun experience to exhibit my work with a few of Philadelphia's great local artists. I even met a fan of my blog! It's always interesting to meet readers, you get to learn what they like and don't like in person. Great night overall and it helped me get over my fear or better yet, timidness of showing my work. 

I also have a couple more exhibits coming up, one for each month until next year! I'm living in my sketchbook and visiting the printers quite often. Sometimes, I think, am I in over my head but then I remind myself, creating art is what I love to do. I have a talent that I want to share with the world, I will not let it sit. 

No matter how busy I get, I will definitely keep blogging. Can't say how often they will be because of all the extracurriculars I've taken on, but I will! Until then, stay updated with me through my Twitter and Instagram!
