It's officially Thanksgiving, and as I put the finishing touches on a pretty decent attempt at a pumpkin pie, I can't help but reflect on all the things I am grateful for. This past year, has been the biggest emotional roller coaster for me, so many sad and unfortunate moments. If it had not been for the wonderful friends and family I have, I don't think that I would have handled it as gracefully as I have. Embrace Thanksgiving as an important reminder to extend thanks and gratitude to every day.
This Thanksgiving when you're sitting at the dinner table, surrounded by all of your loved ones, what are you going to say your thanks for? I honestly feel like I have so many beautiful joys to announce appreciation for. I feel so grateful to be blessed with so many amazing and incredible people in my life especially my sweet little pomeranian! To be able to wake up every morning and have the strength to cycle through 5 miles in Philly or eat as much rice as I want to. To be able to hop on a train and take it into another city for work or leisurely purposes. To create images for people all over the world until my fingers start to numb from long hours of drawing and still lift 200 pounds the next day for weight training. I am also grateful for all of the things I have learned throughout my existence like understanding that with all the great highs in life there is always a low to poise it in place but without it there wouldn't be an appreciation for life.
Dear readers thank you for being here and be thankful for all the things in life that make you smile and flourish!
Beautifully said, Jacqui! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving :)
