Pretty Little Things

During the coldest months of the winter season, layering up is of the highest priority. Most of the times, many of us in Philadelphia, as of lately, can be found wearing as many as five layers to protect ourselves from the harsh winds! Most ladies, myself included, tend to overlook wearing whimsy and fun unmentionables because of the otherwise monotonous wardrobe the winter season  shoves us into adopting. Personally, I believe that pretty lingerie has a way of restoring confidence within us. We put a lot of time and thought into our work, play and gym outfits, isn't it time we put more thought into upgrading our undergarments too? Especially since we're more likely to spend much more of our time at home, than venturing out in the wee hours of sub zero temperatures! 

Feeling comfortable doesn't mean sacrificing style, unfortunately we all fall into that rut! Women sometimes forget that you can add a bit of romance into any ensemble even if it's a pair of your comfiest jeans and a sweatshirt or flannel top! As a single lady, I often draw a blank at wearing beautiful lingerie because I'm too busy getting from point a to point b that I tend to live in my sporty frocks. I definitely want to add some romance in my life, and that does not always have to mean with another person. 

Lingerie has a tendency to make women feel good about themselves, it definitely works for me! I have recently tried the fabulous lingerie by Uye Surana. The best thing about Uye Surana, is that it's crafted in the USA, with delicate materials such as silks, mesh and lace. This brand of lingerie is particularly appealing to me because it's not overtly sexualized. Uye Surana is romantic, and feminine while keeping a minimalist aspect. 

Your intimates should be considered just as important as the super fashionable clothes that they hide underneath. Uye Surana's slew of options all contain sweet and girly options for the very feminine at heart. The key component is that the lingerie is very comfortable. The Lace Longline Bralette and the Silk X Razorback Bralette are two of my favorites. Both styles are adequate enough for all day wear and go with many different tops and dresses. Another point is that Uye Surana's bras don't involve all that padding and underwiring, which is unnecessary for the less endowed in that area. Most bras also come with matching undies to go with it.

Uye Surana also does loungewear, comfortable for sleeping cooking breakfast, baking cookies, watching movies and whatever situation you may find. The Speckled Silk Tank and Short Set is the perfect example of this. Made from 100% silk, it's absolutely cozy and serene. The set could also be worn under your clothes like you would a slip dress.

Uye Surana's lingerie makes me feel elegant and special for no occasion at all. Ladies, we all deserve to feel this way, no matter if you are in a relationship or not.
