Tastemakers, Taylor Swift

Ever have those moments when you feel like you have absolutely nothing to wear, even though you have a closet full of ensembles to take you through the next couple of years?! Yes I do encounter those moments, the best way for me to overcome it is by looking for inspiration. I like to focus on one piece and then build upon that, works most of the time but on those days that it just doesn't cut it, I look to the stars. One of those stars that's constantly inspiring my style is Taylor Swift!

Taylor Swift's style is what I'd like to call ultra femme. If ever there were a woman proud to be herself, that is definitely the epitome of miss Swift's style. Confidence exudes from the top of her head all the way down to her toes, isn't that something that we all try to do with our own choices?

No one wears a matching two piece ensemble quite like Taylor. Most women ignore wearing matching pieces because it seems like something that our grandmothers would have done or like something that just wasn't given enough thought. It's all about how you pair it, accessorizing will be the biggest factor which Taylor does successfully with bold bags and shoes. 

Taylor is known for keeping her style classy and girly but sometimes she'll subtly add some risque  moves to her outfits. That is something I strive to achieve, a subtle sexy edge. The key to adding that sexy flair is not easy because there is no middle, you're either too much or not at all. I think that Taylor Swift achieves it because she knows exactly what her assets are and flaunts it. Takes a true tastemaker to figure it out and use it to their advantage!
