During the summer, I like to get up and go places. Learn new things, discover new places and explore new fashion risks! Nothing worse than a cute bag slowing you down from your excitement. I love bags, but I hate not being hands free when I'm trying to get to point B from point A, especially when you're on a bike. Shoulder bags, tote bags, clutches, I love them all yet they're not totally functional. This summer I'm trying out something different, something that lets me stay on trend and allows me to keep my freedom! Shoulder bags!

When I'm riding my bike or walking to the gym, I like to have my hands free of holding anything for smooth sailing. Backpacks are great for that, they hold all your gym essentials, good for work and enough room to stash the happy hour outfit too! This one in particular is by Call It Spring x Mike Perry. It has a bright and colorful pattern that goes with many outfits and won't dull out your look. The straps are padded with leather so it feels comfortable all day and many pockets for your daily necessities.
On days that I need to look presentable and carry my laptop or an extra pair of shoes with me, I reach for my Robert Matthew bag. It's large enough to hold everything you could possibly need and more! It comes with a removable shoulder strap, which I actually never take off. I really love that it has a compartment specifically for a laptop or a tablet, so convenient! and the pinstripe interior is too beautiful. Great for work, interviews, soirees, or brunch with the girls.
The final bag on this list is probably my favorite, I'm not one to usually fawn over smaller bags because I walk everywhere which means I need someplace to put my things, but I fell in love with this bag instantly! The Céline Mini Luggage Tote, I use this primary for dinner, drinks, and dates with the SO and family. Small, cute and convenient, more so than a clutch! It's powdery blue shade is enough color to pack a punch with my minimalist wardrobe too. the removable shoulder strap is easily adjustable so that bike rides are smooth.
My bag collection is slowly growing, and I mean slowly! I'm not you're usual fashion addict, with zillions of bags. Bags are probably on the bottom of the totem pole for me but if bags become more functional for girls on the go, like me, then I might just reconsider that statement! Nothing like a clunky shoulder bag to slow you down from doing what you need to do. Cross body bags > any other bag for major accessibility. Dear readers, how do you feel about bags? What are your favorite styles?
