Gold and Chemise

It's the dog days of summer, and the humidity is at a steady 90%! Layers are useless, clothes feels useless, but we need clothes for decency! I do love this season, but it's quite a challenge to stay fashionable in such sweltering heat. Challenges are fun especially when fashion is involved. Honestly, i've been finding any excuse to wear the most loose fitting garments ever. Anything that clings is bound to show those awful sweat stains! Loose fitting and airy fabrics are the name of the game! 

Since I can't play with layers, I have to think strategically about the clothes I choose. Harem styled pants and chemise tops are a plenty in my wardrobe for staying cool.  Chemise tops are great because they're light, airy and loose. Gone are the days where chemise was considered only an under layer piece, brands have smartened up and created ways to reintroduce "lingerie" pieces as every day wear, in public.
