There's nothing like a good coat to keep you warm, in close to freezing temperatures. Looking luxurious in dire weather is no easy task, sensible clothing  options get in the way of our style, like rain and snow boots, bulky down coats, thermal base layers and other "sensible" garments. Occasionally all we need is a new trend to inspire the downtrodden for other ways to enjoy the plummeting temperatures, taking a cue from this season's new neutral, burgundy! 

I'm taking a cue this season to dress without the bulk, when ever it's possible! Dressing warm doesn't always mean voluminous, take this coat from Primark for instance. Faux fur has a way of keeping you warm and upping your style game! Make a statement this season by skipping the blacks, and greys of your outerwear collection, and opting for a burgundy, oxblood, maroon, whatever you want to call it! I tame the intensity by muting everything else I pair with it. As a holiday topper, this coat would look fantastic over the simplest of little black dresses in your closet. This year i'm resolving to inject more color into my wardrobe with statement coats and this one by Primark fits the bill!

Next time you go to your office holiday party, or friendly holiday rendezvous, try a bright faux fur coat to really make an entrance! This is definitely an option for the "Look at me!" category but fear not, Primark also has faux fur options in neutral colors too that will still score you major style points for all of your #OOTDs (Outfit Of The Day)!
