Mothers, we all have them and over the years, I've learned so much from my mother. The older I get, the more I realize she's been right about a lot of things. Mothers are full of knowledge and life lessons, from the time I could remember to present day me, I've been learning from her since! This holiday expands to so many categories, women who don't have children but nurture all of those around them, women who want children but are struggling to achieve that, women who lost a child, women who help other women be better moms, women who are single moms and don't have significant others to help the kids tell them,"Happy Mother's Day!" I'll admit it, my mother is my rock and the best Teacher that I have ever grasped knowledge from.
Some of the things that my mother taught me that I still apply to my every day life are....
1) Never leave the house without lipstick on! Seems like a silly thing to say, but I soon learned that when we look our best, we feel our best! Go ahead and put on that new shade of lipstick you picked up recently because you know it looks good especially when you smile. Check out some of my favorite lipsticks!
2) Live your life to the fullest. Whether that means to go after that dream job, travel to that far beyond country you've always dreamt of, or snag those shoes at half price that you saw in the window at Barney's! Life is short, it's important to enjoy it because tomorrow is not guaranteed! Here are a few of my recent shoe findings.
