When it comes to picking up my latest beauty products or restocking certain ones, I don't really go to a brick and mortar store for it. I do 75% of 90% of my beauty, skin and hair shopping online because in the the digital age that's what's convenient. Also I can find some really great deals and and exclusive products online too, or so I thought! I've known about Ulta, but I just figured it was sort of like a bigger beauty store of drugstore cosmetics. I was very wrong!
Ulta is one of the very few brick and mortar cosmetics store that provides you with both high end and low end beauty, skin and hair products. It makes mixing high and low products easier and finding exclusives easier too. Ulta houses so many different brands, from everything that you would find at other beauty stores like Sephora and everything you would find at your local Rite- Aid/ Walgreens/ CVS stores.
I love it and fortunately finding an Ulta store near me isn't too difficult find since they have over 800 stores in 48 states of the USA. Ulta is the biggest beauty retailer in the states and this Fall season they're bringing a slew of new products to their roster, a few in which I got to try out! Check out my video for the products!
Besides having the cutest makeup bags and cases for your valuable products, Ulta also carries some great products. One of my latest Mascaras in heavy rotation is by Essence, "Get Big Lashes." It truly is volumizing and makes batting my lashes an easier task!
It's a pet peeve of mine to let my nails grow past my fingertips, I use my hands constantly from writing to designing, and cooking that it's just smarter for me to keep my nails at a reasonable length. Ulta's new nail files are perfect for that, with so much precision like a professional salon experience. My nails are kept really nicely.
Lipstick is my vice, rouges packed with a bold punch are my go to's for the upcoming season. I like my makeup to be fun especially my lipsticks, that's why Urban Decay's Vice Lipstick really appealed to me! The color featured in the video is called Firebird, a deep fuschia in a creamy finish that hugs and nourishes your lips with butters, vitamins and antioxidants for your best face forward!
Ulta of course has it's own makeup line, I got to try the Ulta Matte Lip Crayon. Crayons are fun and easy to use, brings me back to my childhood days using crayons on the walls making art! Although this time the crayon is for my lips and with a much better end result! The color featured, Sparkler, a rosy pink goes on smooth and lasts for hours without drying out my lips. I'm obsessed with this color, reminds me of a Kylie Cosmetic color, and for $8 it's a steal!
If you've ever tried a juice cleanse, I recommend that you try the Suja Juices! Delicious and filling, it's sure to make you feel like a whole new person! In the video, I feature their lip balm because the juice had already been drunk and gone! It's that good, I swear!
