As New York Fashion has already come to a close, I reflect back on the shows I've payed attention to. There were so many trends to pay attention to and so many to copy. One of the shows that really stood out to me was by Thakoon. Thakoon is best known for soft, billowy cocktail dresses and shift dresses, this collection was nothing like that and it was wonderful! The Fall Winter Ready To Wear collection featured a much more grungy, romantic gothic style that really encapsulated the 90s.

Honestly, I loved every piece in the collection, it's hard for me to pick just one look! I want to copy every ensemble, STAT! Thakoon's collection proves minimalism and gothic vibes are interchangeable, maybe I will layer plaid over stripes or a faux fur jacket over thick knit!
