Honestly readers, is there anything worse than chapped lips? The itching, the burning, the peeling, and the fact that lipsticks, lip stains and all of the sort just don't look good with chapped lips. No thanks! We all experience it, as soon as the weather dips to extremely low temps the skin on our lips dries up immediately. No matter how much water we drink, it's almost inevitable but not impossible! Every year I prepare myself for the harsh weather ahead with my secret weapon, Fresh Sugar Scrub!

Every winter, as soon as the temperatures drop and the wind picks up, my lips almost immediately start to peel. I've experimented with making my own lip scrubs and exfoliators but most of the times my skin was left feeling dry. One day, I stumbled into a Sephora just wandering around when I found Fresh's Scrub Polish. It smelled delightful and seemed enticing enough for me to buy it and try it. After one use I was hooked! This product really delivers in moisture, after the first use my lips really felt like new.
I tend to use this product twice a month, I prep my lips first by scrubbing them with a toothbrush and then apply the polish in soft strokes. It leaves your lips feeling silky as if you have lip balm on, which you probably wouldn't need any but I still use some for the protection. Lately I've been heavily using It Cosmetics' Je Ne Sais Quois lip balm, it provides my lips with vitamins, oils and major hydration. It also gives the wearer a pretty flushed stain.
Dry lips are definitely annoying, fortunately we don't have to live with it! Old man Winter comes with vengeance every year but wit the right tools, you can glow! Dear readers, have you tried Fresh's Sugar Polish? How do you keep your lips supple in the winter?
